Summer Months ( April to October)
Due to our Northerly latitude viewing through telescopes at night is usually not possible as the sky is too light except for a few hours around 1am.
Here at The Tables we can show you the Sun during the day, clear skies permitting with our Meade 10" GPS SCT Telescope and Solar Grade Viewing Filter.
*** Warning, never look directly at the sun unless using the correct equipment. ***
*** Permanent blindness can result. ***
Winter Months (October to March)
With darkening nights a large variety of objects are available to look at in detail through a telescope including the Planets, Stars, Galaxies, Comets & Nebula. With the naked eye there are Meteorites (Shooting Stars), Fireballs, Meteor Showers, Satellites and on occasion the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).
